Freedom Tech Track

On June 2, the Human Rights Foundation (HRF) will host the Freedom Tech track at the 2026 Oslo Freedom Forum. This program will explore how technologies like Bitcoin, Nostr, and open-source AI can help human rights defenders communicate, coordinate, and transact more freely under repression.

FAQ

The 2026 Oslo Freedom Forum offers two pathways for registration:

1. Standard & Patron Passes

Attendees who are interested in the full OFF experience can directly purchase a Standard Pass, a new ticket option that includes access to exclusive side events in addition to the main program, or a Patron Pass, our VIP ticket option. The President’s Circle is a sponsor-level ticket package that includes a bundle of five (5) Patron Passes and optional sponsor recognition. To learn more about the ticket options for OFF and what is included in each ticket, visit our 2026 Oslo Freedom Forum ticketing page.

2. Forum Passes

The Forum Pass is a heavily discounted ticket for attendees who only want to participate in the main programming during the day, which includes keynote talks, panel discussions, workshops, and access to the interactive expo space.

Attendees who wish to purchase a Forum Pass will need to submit an application to register. In your application, we ask that you provide background information about yourself and your motivation for attending the Oslo Freedom Forum. The HRF team will review your application and follow up within 2-3 days. Please note that the Oslo Freedom Forum reserves the right to reject applications or revoke access at any time if an individual or their organization is found to represent a risk or threat to any member of the OFF community.

A portion of the Patron Pass is considered a tax-deductible gift to the Human Rights Foundation, a 501c(3) organization. Please reach out to [email protected] to request a tax receipt for your Patron Pass purchase.

Our team unfortunately cannot issue official invitations for visa purposes to general attendees not directly invited to speak at or otherwise participate in the conference. If you are unable to attend in person, we encourage you to join the event virtually by watching the livestream on June 1-3 at our website, www.oslofreedomforum.com.

Negotiated hotel rates are available for ticket buyers at the Patron Pass level. Upon purchase of your Patron Pass, you will receive details about booking in the OFF room block at hotels centrally located in Oslo.

The Oslo Freedom Forum unfortunately does not currently offer scholarships or grants for attendees. However, we offer a heavily discounted Forum Pass for students. Please reach out to our team at [email protected] if you are not a student but cannot afford the regularly priced Forum Pass.

You can receive a refund for a ticket purchase until May 31, 2026, by reaching out to our team at [email protected].

The event’s livestream will be available on OFF’s X and YouTube accounts, as well as at oslofreedomforum.com.
