Tibetan Student Activist and Campaigns Director at Students for a Free Tibet

Tsela Zoksang is a Tibetan student activist from New York, deeply committed to advocating for Tibetan rights and sovereignty. She is currently pursuing undergraduate studies in politics at New York University. In May 2024, Tsela participated in a peaceful protest during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Paris. Alongside fellow activists, she displayed banners and the Tibetan national flag at the Arc de Triomphe, calling for global recognition of Tibet’s plight. For her unwavering dedication, Tsela was honored with the 2024 Lhakar Award for Activism in Exile.
