Mahendra Pandey is the director of the Forced Labor and Human Trafficking portfolio at Humanity United and the founder of the Global Migrant Workers Network (GMWN), a migrant worker- and survivor-led movement with more than 23,000 members across 27 countries in the Global South. A former migrant worker in Saudi Arabia, Pandey draws on his lived experience to advocate for the rights and dignity of migrant workers worldwide. He leads global initiatives addressing forced labor and human trafficking and serves as vice chair of the Freedom Fund board. He is a finalist for the 2026 Schwab Foundation Collective Social Innovator Award and a recipient of the 2025 Onlinekhabar 40 Under 40 Award.
