Jenan Moussa is a correspondent for Al Aan, a pan-Arab satellite television channel based in the United Arab Emirates. She has traveled to Syria countless times to cover the ongoing uprising and war, providing groundbreaking reports and images from Syria and giving readers unprecedented insight into the conflict. She has covered the attack on the American diplomatic embassy in Benghazi, Libya in 2012, Mali’s military coup in 2013, and ISIS’ growing threat in Syria in 2018. She has written for Foreign Policy, The New York Times, and Time Magazine. In 2019, she was given the Shifa Gardi International Award.
