Philippa Thomas is an international journalist and academic known for her high-profile career with the BBC. During her three-decade-long broadcasting career, Thomas anchored live news shows on BBC World TV and live election coverage for World Service Radio. She first attended the Oslo Freedom Forum in 2011 as a Harvard University Nieman Journalism Fellow.
