Anas Aremeyaw Anas is an undercover journalist from Ghana who has gained international attention for his investigations into human rights abuses and corruption in Ghana and other African countries. Anas conducts his investigations using a simple motto: “Name, shame, and jail.” In his speech at the 2017 Oslo Freedom Forum, Anas describes how he has exposed some of Ghana’s biggest cases of bribery, corruption, and human rights abuses in recent memory and reminded us that we all must take risks to defend democracy.
