Akida Pulat is a grassroots Uyghur activist and a member of Campaign for Uyghurs. Through her work, she raises awareness about human rights abuses in the Uyghur Region and the detention of her mother, Rahile Dawut, a renowned professor and folklorist, by the Chinese regime. Dawut was sentenced to life in prison on bogus grounds in September 2023.
