Syrian rights activist Ausama Monajed offers insight into the current state of Syrian social and political life, as well as the injustices that occur on a daily basis under the regime of Bashar al-Assad. Monajed shows how the Syrian people are documenting human rights violations using social media networks and YouTube videos, as theregime prohibits foreign media or NGOs from entering the country. But Syrians alone cannot bring down this dictatorship: Monajed believes that the international community must get involved to finally stop the Assad regime from killing and repressing its people.
