Notes to My Activist Self

By creating a Facebook page to honor Khaled Saeed, a young Egyptian killed by police, computer engineer Wael Ghonim helped spark the protests that led to the Egyptian Revolution in 2011. In his talk, Ghonim shares his experiences dealing with public attention and persecution after the protests and gives advice to future advocates about the personal and communal obstacles of inciting systemic change.
