Tutu Alicante is the executive director of Equatorial Guinea Justice, which exposes the depths of corruption and injustice in Equatorial Guinea under Africa’s longest-ruling dictator, Teodoro Obiang. On the Oslo Freedom Forum stage in 2012, Alicante shared the story of his home country and the mechanisms used to forge a better state despite the violence and destruction characterized by the regime.
