Lisa Sánchez is the executive director of Mexico United against Crime (MUCD), a Mexican nongovernmental organization that has been working on citizen security, justice, and drug policy issues since 1998. She takes the stage at the Oslo Freedom Forum to show why the war on drugs has just been a war on people and share her vision for a more peaceful way forward. Sánchez has seen the fight up close, and it’s why she believes that winning the war on drugs requires a radical shift in how world leaders think, talk, and approach drugs and drug use.
