Oleksandra Matviichuk is a human rights defender and head of the human rights organization Center for Civil Liberties, where she works on protecting human rights and establishing democracy in Ukraine and the OSCE region. She joins us on the 2023 Oslo Freedom Forum Stage to discuss her experience on the frontlines of freedom.

Oleksandra Matviichuk is a human rights defender who works on issues in Ukraine and the OSCE region. She heads the human rights organization Center for Civil Liberties, which aims to protect human rights and establish democracy. The organization is developing legislative changes, exercising public oversight over law enforcement agencies and the judiciary, conducting educational activities for young people, and implementing international solidarity programs. She also coordinates the work of the initiative group Euromaidan SOS.
