Explanation of Benefits
Theater Presentation
Representative(s) from your organization may speak for two to three minutes on the main stage with an HRF representative to discuss why you/your organization are supporting HRF and its broader mission. Theater presentations are typically watched by 500-1,000 audience members and are live-streamed and recorded.
Karl Johan banner publicity
Your organization’s logo may be featured on the OFF banners that are hung along Karl Johans Gate, the main street in Oslo, in the days leading up to as well as during OFF. These banners are seen by thousands of local Oslo residents as well as tourists.
Interactive programmatic tracks
Interactive programming at the Oslo Freedom Forum features panel discussions, deep dives, fireside chats, and workshops. These sessions are designed to challenge participants to think more critically about the issues presented during the theater talks and to forge partnerships and collaborations. Sessions are organized into four thematic tracks.
Reception
Your organization may host a reception on one of the main conference days. Typically, we would organize an invitation-only happy hour social where representatives from your organization could give a short presentation about your work. HRF would collaborate with you to organize logistics and invite the most relevant OFF community members, assembling a high-impact and engaging group.
Patron Pass
The Patron Pass (sold at $3,000) includes access to all lunches, dinners, and receptions on each day of the conference; access to main stage talks and interactive programming, including the presentation of the Václav Havel International Prize for Creative Dissent; and access to negotiated rates at local hotels.
Interactive Pass
The Interactive Pass (sold at $100) includes access to all daytime programming on all three days of the conference, including main stage talks, interactive programming, and the presentation of the Václav Havel International Prize for Creative Dissent.
President’s Reception
The President’s Reception takes place the evening before the first official day of programming (Sunday). It is an intimate gathering designed to allow your organization’s representative(s) to connect in an intimate setting with HRF’s other major supporters and stakeholders. The President’s Reception is followed by the Speaker Dinner.
Speaker Dinner
The Speaker Dinner takes place the evening before the first official day of programming (Sunday). Given its very limited capacity, the Speaker Dinner is a unique opportunity for a sponsor’s representatives to connect with keynote speakers in an intimate setting.
Acknowledgments
The sponsor may be acknowledged in all printed and digital materials, including the OFF website, program book, and marketing materials.
About the Oslo Freedom Forum
OFF is a transformative international conference series run by HRF bringing dissidents, activists, and journalists together with technologists, philanthropists, and academics to help make the world more peaceful, prosperous, and free.
Described by The Economist as the “Davos for human rights” and by The New York Times as an opportunity for “the world’s dissidents to have their say,” OFF is a place where industry leaders and activists come together to create new partnerships and collaborations.
OFF in NY is a one-day event where our New York-based community convenes to listen to theater talks by renowned human rights advocates and learn about the global struggle for democracy. The theater program is followed by a Gala Dinner, which includes live performances, talks, and time for networking.
