Thomas Glave

Thomas Glave is a Jamaican-American author and LGBT rights activist. Glave is a founder of the ;Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-Sexuals, and Gays (J-FLAG). He is the author of “Whose Song? and Other Stories,”nominated by the American Library Association for “Best Gay/Lesbian Book of the Year,” and “The Torturer’s Wife.” Glave is the recipient of the O.Henry Prize for fiction and a Fulbright Scholar. He has taught at the University of Virginia, Brown University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is presently professor of English and Africana studies at ;Binghamton University, State University of New York.
