
Abraham Jiménez Enoa is a columnist for the Washington Post and the co-founder of El Estornudo, one of the first independent Cuban magazines dedicated to literary journalism. He is also the author of “La isla oculta” — “The Hidden Island” — a collection of stories of ordinary Cubans living in hardship under the dictatorship. In 2022, he was awarded the International Press Freedom Award by the Committee to Protect Journalists.
