Bahr Abdul Razzak is an expert in cyber security and an academic researcher, currently working as a security analyst at Citizen Lab at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs. Razzak plays a key role in investigations into cyber threats posed by nation-states and has contributed to revealing major cyber espionage activities and digital attacks targeting dissidents and journalists worldwide. Additionally, since 2011, he has used his web, security, and app development skills to support social and digital media activists who supported the peaceful side of the Syrian Revolution and led digital security training in various countries, helping organizations and citizen journalists strengthen their defenses against cyber espionage and threats.
