Alvaro Piaggio oversees the Human Rights Foundation’s research and campaigns in the Americas. He also contributes to the Celebrities and Dictators program, which aims to raise awareness of how dictators use the prestige of celebrities and athletes to further their regimes’ interests. Piaggio has more than a decade of experience working on human rights and democracy issues in Latin America.
