The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) hosted the fourth Oslo Freedom Forum (OFF) in Taiwan on Oct. 18, 2023, making it HRF’s most consistent and successful regional OFF event outside of Norway and New York.
This event’s delegation included 10 speakers and one performer with diverse backgrounds, from Venezuela to Swaziland to Taiwan’s own neighbor, Hong Kong. Speakers included Hong Kong Watch policy advisor Joey Siu, North Korean human rights activist Pastor Seungeun Kim, Axios China reporter Bethany Allen-Ebrahimian, and many more. Outside the theater, attendees enjoyed local partner booths and explored some of HRF’s programs at the interactive expo.
HRF returned to Taipei to host the fourth OFF in Taiwan. Attendees gathered at the W Taipei Hotel to hear from top human rights advocates and learn more about HRF’s advocacy campaigns.
