Explore the Oslo Freedom Forum’s impactful return to Taipei, featuring powerful discussions and keynotes to promote human rights and freedom.

About

After a two-year hiatus, the Human Rights Foundation (HRF) returned to Taipei to host the third Oslo Freedom Forum (OFF) in Taiwan on Nov. 3, 2022. Theater programming included remarks from Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Joseph Wu, the General Secretary of Taiwan’s Parliamentary Human Rights Commission Wu’er Kaixi, and Taiwanese Congressman Freddy Tshiong-Tso Lim. The half-day event included private roundtables and an interactive exhibition featuring HRF’s programs and more than a dozen local Taiwanese NGOs.

We are people united in a fight for respect and agency. We cannot allow ourselves to be dehumanized, turned into geopolitical chess pieces. We are people united in a fight for agency and self-determination.

Chung Ching Kwong
Hong Kong political and digital rights activist
