Kawsar Yasin

Uyghur Pro-Democracy Activist and Co-Founder of the Coalition of Students Resisting the CCP

Kawsar Yasin is a student at Harvard University and serves as the Coordinator for the Muslim American Studies Working Group. She advocates for Uyghur rights and cultural preservation, founding and serving as President of Harvard Undergraduates for Uyghur Solidarity. Yasin is also a co-founder of the Coalition of Students Resisting the CCP, a group of students from various communities working toward collective liberation. Additionally, she has been actively involved with the Harvard-Radcliffe Asian American Association, contributing to cultural and advocacy initiatives. Through her academic work and activism, Yasin continues to raise awareness about the struggles of the Uyghur community and the importance of preserving their culture.
