Dr. Nada Dhaif is a Bahraini oral and dental surgeon and founder of the Bahrain Rehabilitation & Anti-Violence Organization (BRAVO). Dhaif was arrested and tortured by the Bahraini government after participating in pro-democracy demonstrations in Manama. Now she’s focused on providing essential treatment and resources to torture survivors. She took the stage at the Oslo Freedom Forum to discuss her important work and how it’s making her and her family the target of persistent threats.
