Fartuun Adan is a Somali activist and educator. She is the executive director of the Elman Peace and Human Rights Centre. At the 2019 Oslo Freedom Forum, Fartuun goes more in depth about her work building peace, empowering women, and rehabilitating child soldiers in Somalia.
