Uki Goñi is an Argentinian author and journalist who reported on the disappearance of thousands of young political opponents of the military dictatorship from 1976 to 1983. In his talk, Goñi discussed his work as a young journalist during the military dictatorship in Argentina, the ongoing journey toward justice and reconciliation in Argentina, and the importance of citizens working to put limits on the domestic military power of government.
