Nico Sell is a professional artist, athlete, and entrepreneur based in California. She is CEO and cofounder of r00tz Asylum, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching children about the values of white-hat hacking, and Wickr, a free messaging app enabling anyone to send self-destructing messages that are anonymous, private, and secure. Sell is also an organizer of DEF CON, the largest hacker gathering in the world. She has helped launch over 20 successful security companies as a venture catalyst and sits on numerous advisory boards.
