Bryan Fogel is an Academy Award-winning film director, producer, author, and playwright. His 2017 documentary “Icarus,” an indexical report on the truth surrounding doping in sports, won Best Documentary Feature at the 90th Academy Awards. What was initially a probe into the world of performance-enhancing drugs quickly became a much larger political conversation about the Russian government and its ties with Grigory Rodchenkov, the mastermind behind the state-run doping institution. Fogel is currently working on two new documentary features and a documentary series for Netflix.
