Wonho Chung

South Korean-Vietnamese comedian and television personality

Wonho Chung is a comedian and television personality. Born in Saudi Arabia to a South Korean father and Vietnamese mother, Chung was raised in Jordan. He graduated from Jordan’s Applied Science Private University in 2004. Chung’s comedy career began in 2007 when he joined the critically acclaimed “Axis of Evil” comedy group on its first tour of the Middle East. He performed in 27 shows as part of the tour, including in Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Dubai. The tour spawned the award-winning TV series “The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour: 3 Guys and Wonho,” the most successful originally produced show in Showtime Arabia’s history. Chung has been called the “first Arabic-speaking stand-up comedian in the Middle East.”
