Argentinian lawyer and politician

Victoria Villarruel is a lawyer and vice president of Argentina. She founded the Center for Legal Studies on Terrorism and its Victims, which she established to document terrorist crimes committed from 1969 to 1979. She promotes legal rights for Argentinian victims of terrorism while documenting their stories and providing legal counseling for their families. Her most recent book, “Los Llaman… Jóvenes Idealistas,” (They Call Them… Young Idealists), sheds light on the lives of victims of terrorism in Argentina during the 1970s.
