Yuan Yang, the former Financial Times’ Europe-China correspondent, returned to the United Kingdom after six years in China, where she served as deputy bureau chief. Before pursuing journalism, Yuan co-founded Rethinking Economics, a charity based in the UK dedicated to advocating for a more practical approach to economics.
