The Wanton Bishops

Lebanese rock band

The Wanton Bishops are a Lebanese rock band whose music has been described as a “thrilling rush of raw, blues, and booze-soaked indie rock… with a ramshackle sensibility all its own.” The duo, Nader Mansour and Eddy Ghossein, formed in Beirut in 2011 and released their debut album, “Sleep With the Lights On,” in early 2015. Their lead single and title track from the album received rave reviews in the music press, with BBC 6 Music, Classic Rock Magazine, The Guardian, and Rolling Stone praising the band for their passionate live performances and raw energy.
