Sasa Vucinic is the founder and CEO of IndieVoices and co-founder of the Media Development Loan Fund, an investment fund for independent media in the developing world. Since its founding in 1995, MDLF has invested more than $125 million in independent media companies in 30 countries. Prior to founding MDLF, Vucinic worked as a media consultant for the Soros Foundation Network. From 1990 to 1993, he was the general manager and editor-in-chief of Radio B92 in Belgrade, a rare outlet for independent news under Slobodan Milosevic’s tyrannical regime.
