Gender and sexual rights activist

Georges Azzi is a seasoned advocate for gender and LGBTQI+ rights, with over two decades of experience in challenging environments. He founded the first LGBT organization in Lebanon and led the Arab Foundation for Freedoms and Equality to become a regional advocacy powerhouse. Now in exile in Spain, Azzi works as a global expert on the intersectionality between sexuality, gender, migration, and health, continuing his impactful advocacy and strategic planning on an international scale.
