Chloe Cheung

Hong Kong activist at the Committee for Freedom in Hong Kong Foundation

At just 14, Chloe Cheung became actively involved in the 2019 pro-democracy movement. By 15, she left Hong Kong to continue her activism overseas. Seeking to broaden her impact, Cheung joined the Committee for Freedom in Hong Kong Foundation, an organization campaigning for the release of Hong Kong’s political prisoners and advocating for the city’s freedom through ongoing international advocacy. In December 2024, Hong Kong authorities placed a HK$1 million bounty on her. Despite the threats, she bravely testified to the UK Parliament and has been featured in major media outlets such as the BBC and the Sunday Times.
