He has written multiple books on illicit finance, international corruption, and the links between dirty money and dictatorship, including “American Kleptocracy” and “Foreign Agents.” He writes regularly for the New York Times, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs, and more. He is currently sanctioned by the Russian regime for his work.
