Amy Proulx is the founder and executive director of Harper Philanthropic, where she helps donors and funders shape and execute their charitable giving strategies. She partners with funders to identify, develop, and scale philanthropic initiatives advancing individual freedom and human rights, market-based solutions to poverty, and entrepreneurship.

With nearly 20 years in philanthropy and the non-profit sector, Amy previously served as Director of Individual Freedom and Free Markets at the John Templeton Foundation, where she designed and launched grant programs to attract leading researchers, nurture promising young scholars, and build networks across diverse intellectual perspectives. Earlier, as Director of Academic Talent Development at the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University, she built a suite of intensive educational and career development programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
