Aida Sulova

Kyrgyz artist, curator, and activist

Aida Sulova was born and raised in Kyrgyzstan, but now lives and works in New York, USA. A graduate of New York University, she is currently pursuing her MFA Degree in Anthropology and Design at Parsons School of Design. As both an artist and curator, Aida draws inspiration from the shifts in society, including political protests, climate change, collective memory restoration, human rights and civil liberties protection, as well as cultural preservation. Founder of “Kachan?” Art Foundation, Aida promotes an engagement of the arts in learning institutions and organizes cultural exchanges between Central Asia and the world.
