Press Registration

The Oslo Freedom Forum welcomes members of the press and media who are dedicated to covering stories on the world’s most engaging human rights advocates, artists, tech entrepreneurs, and leaders.

Whether you are part of a major outlet or an independent storyteller, the Human Rights Foundation invites you to apply to attend and cover the 2026 Oslo Freedom Forum from June 1-3, 2026 in Oslo, Norway. If approved as an official member of the press, you may be invited to take part in exclusive experiences, such as our invitation-only press cruise and press dinner.

Press Types for Application

Professional Journalist

Reporters, editors, and producers working for established, recognized news organizations (print, broadcast, major publications).

Digital Content Creator/Independent Journalist

Independent writers and creators who primarily produce and contribute original news content via independent digital platforms, such as blogs, podcasts, Substack, Instagram, or YouTube channels.

Student Journalist

Individuals currently enrolled in media or journalism programs who are reporting for a university or student-run publication.

Media Support/Technical Staff

Individuals whose primary function is technical support for an accredited journalist or news organization.

2026 Press Pass

Press passes are limited and not all applications will be approved. The number of press passes issued to an outlet is at the discretion of the Oslo Freedom Forum organizers. Each press application will receive individual consideration.
