Timur Nusimbekov is the co-founder of Adamdar/CA (www.adamdar.ca), a platform dedicated to spotlighting the people, projects, and stories of Central Asia. Timur focuses on the environment, human rights, and contemporary regional developments. Through his texts, photography, video projects, and cultural initiatives, he has documented pivotal moments in the recent history of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. His works are featured in esteemed media outlets across Asia, Europe, and America, and have been embraced by renowned human rights and educational institutions as well. These include BBC, EurasiaNet, The Times, the Clooney Foundation, Stanford University Press, Humans Rights Watch, UNESCO, and others.
