Sary Levy is a Venezuelan economist, research scientist, professor, academic dean, and author. Winner of the Fulbright Research Fellowship at Boston University’s Center for Polymer Studies, Levy has held positions at the Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom, the National Academy of Economic Sciences, the University of Massachusetts, and the Universidad Central de Venezuela. She has authored numerous publications, and her work centers on the on the analysis  and calculation of the International Property Rights Index (IPRI). In partnership with 131 international organizations, Levy produced the most recent edition of the IPRI in 2023, which highlights the importance of property rights to a strong economy.
