Enrique Krauze is an esteemed Mexican historian, essayist, editor, and entrepreneur. Renowned for his insightful biographies and historical works, including “Mexico: Biography of Power” and “Redeemers,” Krauze has authored more than 20 books and produced numerous television programs and documentaries on Mexico’s rich history. As the director of the publishing house Clío and Letras Libres, a cultural magazine, Krauze continues to shape discourse and foster intellectual engagement. Recognized as a member of the Mexican Academy of History and the Colegio Nacional, Krauze’s multifaceted contributions have earned him widespread acclaim and solidified his legacy as a leading figure in Mexican intellectual life.
