Australian journalist and Wikileaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange describes the enormous power and influence that comes with control of the internet and says that the trend of increased censorship by the West threatens the ideals that it once stood for. He warns us that Western governments, large corporations, and certain wealthy individuals are increasingly able manipulate the content of the internet and wield this power to remove important and sensitive information. Assange discusses the work of Wikileaks to uncover human rights abuses at Abu Ghraib, Bagram, and Guantánamo Bay.
