The Post-Conflict Mind

British journalist and conflict trauma therapist Justine Hardy highlights the importance of addressing the mental health of people in conflict-ravaged areas. Sustainable positive change must come from within, from a people who can think with clarity and take responsibility for their actions. Drawing on her experience in the war-torn Kashmir region, Hardy describes the devastating effects that violence can have on the next generation of a country’s leadership. In order to build a healthy future, a country cannot ignore the mental health of its citizens.
