September 28, 2012

American installation artist Naomi Natale shares her work at the intersection of art and activism. She talks about One Million Bones, an art installation commemorating the millions of victims of genocide in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Burma. Natale explains how the act of collaborative art connects people in a personal way to the difficult and complex issue of genocide. More activists are needed to advocate for causes around the world and Natale believes art can inspire and educate new generations of activists.
