From Famine to Freedom: A North Korean’s Story of Escape

Ji Seong-ho traveled over 6,000 miles to escape the Kim regime of North Korea. After losing both a hand and foot while searching for food for his family on a coal train, Ji fought his way to freedom in South Korea in 2006. At OFF in Taiwain, Ji spoke about his journey from famine to freedom, and how he uses his voice to broadcast outside information into North Korea while helping facilitating the resettlement of other defectors.
