
Zineb El Rhazoui, a Moroccan-French journalist and former Charlie Hebdo columnist, is wanted by some of the world’s most violent extremists. Had she not been on vacation during the Charlie Hebdo attack in 2015, El Rhazoui could easily have been one of Al Qaeda’s victims. In this talk, the journalist shares her her work as an advocate for free thought and speech in the Muslim world. Secular, liberal values, in El Rhazoui’s opinion, are the only guarantees against an increasingly extremist world.
