Liberian children’s rights activist Kimmie Weeks asks us to imagine a six-year-old holding a gun, asix-year-old being forced to kill. He has worked since his youth to end the use of child soldiers in armed conflicts and rehabilitate former child soldiers.Life as a child soldier does not end when the conflict ends; these children will experience the continuing trauma of a lost childhood and the violence that took its place. Weeks urges the audience to start taking action and bring those who use child soldiers to justice.
