Since the Euromaidan Protests and her appearance in the “I Am a Ukrainian” viral video in 2014, Yulia Marushevska has devoted herself to fighting corruption in her country. This effort is what Marushevska refers to as “the second battlefront.” While Russian soldiers occupy large swaths of her country, untold billions of dollars are stolen yearly from the Ukrainian people, amounting to a threat as sinister as that of foreign occupation.
