The daughter of Chinese political prisoner Wang Bingzhang, Ti-Anna Wang recounts her father’s story of struggle for democracy in China and the abuse inflicted upon him by the Chinese government for his unwavering dedication to creating a free China. Wang has found support and strength from fellow daughters of political prisoners and describes the challenge of fighting for a cause that at times seems destined to fail. In looking to history, however, Wang finds hope and realizes that no sacrifice for a noble cause goes wasted. Every effort, no matter how small, moves humanity in the right direction.
