When Grace Gao was a child in China, she was kept under 24-hour surveillance by security officers. Her classmates would not speak to her, and she was eventually forced to leave school. All because her father, Gao Zhisheng, is a well known human rights lawyer in China. In an emotional talk, Grace tells the story of her father’s arrest in 2009 and the subsequent separation of her family. Grace advocates for her father’s release and asks the world to not forget the thousands of families ripped apart by the Chinese regime.
