Yulia Marushevska is a Ukrainian anti-corruption advocate and civil servant who was featured anonymously in a short but powerful viral video, titled “I Am A Ukrainian,” in which she explains the reasons behind the Euromaidan protests. Since the video was posted on YouTube in February 2014, more than 8 million people have viewed it, and Marushevska has appeared on more than 70 media outlets in 35 countries. In 2015, Marushevska joined the Odessa regional government team and was appointed Chief of Odessa Customs after training for the role at Harvard and Stanford universities.
