Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit is a pro-democracy activist and leader of the opposition Future Forward Party in Thailand. As a result of his advocacy for freedom and democracy, Juangroongruangkit was stripped of his parliamentary seat by the ruling military junta. His commitment to change in Thailand earned him a spot on Time Magazine’s Time 100 Next list. Thanathorn was one of the Oslo Freedom Forum virtual speakers in 2020 along with Taiwan’s Digital Minister Audrey Tang.
